Breakaway Breakfast

Hi. Leaving Sunday on the Breakaway to Bermuda. Very excited! Aside from the buffet, what are the other breakfast venues? Any favorites/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Osheehan's has a great breakfast menu. The omelets and the hash were very good. The coffee is the best.

Also had a breakfast sandwich at the Uptown Grill

Love the coffee rolls from there, plus it not as crowded as the buffet during peak morning times.

We were on the Breakaway this summer. Except for the days in port when we wanted to get off the ship fast, we had breakfast in either Taste or Savor. We enjoy a sit-down meal together as a family, the food was wonderful and we didn't have to stand on line at the buffet and end up with cold food. I'm not a buffet fan. We did use the buffet on port days, but enjoyed our sit-down breakfast the other days. Others have commented that the breakfast service in Taste/Savor was slow, but we didn't think so.

Some days there is a smaller buffet in Moderno. Also for lunch.

We mostly ate in the buffet for breakfasts but one day we ate in Moderno. It was nice--we sat outside. There weren't many people there. They had the same breakfast staples--cereals, eggs, meat, potatoes, fruit, muslix, oatmeal, etc.

What time does Uptown Grill open for breakfast? Also what time for the buffet in Moderno? We are early risers.

On breakaway now, garden cafe is open at 6 am for early risers. Moderno open at 8:30, o'sheehans open at 5:30, savor 8, taste 8:30, uptown 8.

 

Honestly if you want decent eggs you will need to go to a sit down restaurant. The scrambled eggs in the buffet are terrible. O'sheehans was okay, the best was taste. Uptown serves the same breakfast as the buffet but no one goes there so you can get omelettes quicker.
