Received a letter some time ago from Carnival stating I should let them know when I cruised again so they can notify the Ocean Players Club/Casino Host. Has anyone ever received this note and acted on it. Sorry if this seems like a "stupid" question. Thought I might have spent so much on my last cruise in the casino, they can't wait for me to come back:):)

we always receive a letter a bit after returning from a cruise from ocean players club stating how much cash back we have for our next cruise. my dh cant find his, so i e-mailed the host of the glory, (our next and last cruise) she replyed the next day, no need for the letter, they have all the info stored. wanted to know our booking and cabin #. maybe a freebie. hope its booze. teehee. go to oceanplayersclub.com, u can email the host direct.

How much does one need to gamble in the casino to get a cash-back or other type of perk? We aren't HUGE gamblers but I'm just wondering.

i dont know how much $$ ya gotta blow to get cash back, but we have always gotten it. we r in the casino every night and dh is in quite a bit in the day. he gets more then me, it varies, 25 bucks to 85 is about right. jusy use the players card. i wont spend a dime unless i get credit! tables too. sometimes we get beach bag type perks and t-shirts. we get in teh slot touneys too. and make your face familiar! like vegas.
