Fall colors

Flying to Boston sept 26. Heading to Woodstock vt then across Kanc. Stay over in Lincoln. Then off to the coast total 5 days. I think I might be to early for much color. What do you think. It's warm now just not sure how fast leaves change. Any opinions.

Check out the Yankee Magazine website section about fall foliage. They have a colorful interactive map that shows reports for each county.

 

Also, check your flights and your times. The Pope's visit to DC, NYC, and Phila this week/weekend is causing a lot of airport security changes. For example, no flights will be allowed to leave/depart JFK when the Pope is at the airport in his private terminal. I imagine there might be flight delays or more time required to go around restricted air space even if your flight does not go thru NYC.

We have been to Boston, Portland and Bar Harbor so far. Not really much color yet, mostly just green. Still beautiful but I'll definitely take a later cruise next time. Hoping for some in Halifax on the way back.
