Beautiful anniversary cake and room decoration last week aboard the Pearl!

We cruised to Alaska last week to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The beautiful cake and room decorations were an unexpected surprise! Last time the cake was tiny and plain and there was no room decorating. I think Leah Rodriguez, the Pearl's concierge had a LOT to do with this!

I don't know what it is about those towel swans, but they are SO beautiful! When I saw them I just said "ohhhhhhhh!"

She's great. Gets things done! She was always checking in with all the guests at breakfast and lunch, going from table to table, seeing what plans were asking how things were going, offering suggestions and help.
