Amy5000 Posted September 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2015 Hi all. We will be in St. Thomas in April. We'll be on a large crowded cruise ship and I think there are five ships in port the day we go to St. Thomas; so I think we'd like to do a day on a boat to snorkle, see some sea turtles / sea life and basically get away. There are so many boats for hire in St. Thomas with fabulous ratings on Trip Advisor that I'm having a hard time figuring it out. Anyone here have any suggestions. We are a family of 5; not sure if we should hire a power boat or sail boat; also, I don't love being in the sun continuously so something with a little shade could be nice. TIA. Amy5000 Posted September 24, 2015 Author #2 Share Posted September 24, 2015 And one more thing: Any advice for weather to do a sail boat vs power boat? Is one easier to get onto or off of for snorkeling? :-) Amy
