Fascination

Here is my top tip: It is a quote from my Fascination review. This area is behind the Lido buffet. You go through the doors by the pizza counter to get there...(if I remember right)

Since we did not splurge on a balcony this time, this aft area on the lido deck became my favorite spot for the week. It was usually quiet when I got there around 6:30 in the morning to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of English Breakfast Tea...

So, I started and ended my cruise there... Here is the last morning with a picture of the Dames point bridge in the background.

Enjoy your cruise!

both posters nailed it. We were on the Fascination last week. The rear dining balcony is awesome. Why more folks don't use it I don't know but we loved it.

The front area in front of the sport deck overlooking the bow was great also. Watched dozens of dolphins racing and dancing in front of the boat on our 1st sea day. Just magical.

We did the Chef's Table and while at first I was hesitant I must say it was incredible. I am a basic meat and tater guy so I didn't think my palate would be worthy but I agreed to anyway cause my wife wanted to.

It was AMAZING. An evening that we will never forget.

Have fun and enjoy your cruise. We found the Fascination to be great, it was a wonderful but all to short a week.

Hubby and I wanted to take one last trip on her before she leaves Jacksonville. We have been on her twice and have had wonderful times. For a short getaway it is great. She is getting older, but that doesn't stop the fun. The cruise is what you make it. Love the triva as well as the casino. Sitting at the bars in the evening is fun as well as people watch. Folks are always friendly. Can't wait to have another relaxing time.:o

If you go to the front of the Veranda Deck (this will be in a stateroom section) and go to one of the corners, there will be a door that can take you out to the ridge overlook and on a sea day, even thought it is windy, it is still very nice. Also nice for sailaways!

But beware -- the horn they blow is 1 deck above you and it is LOUD.

One more thing. There is a bar on Promenade deck toward the back of the ship it's name is the Beverly Hills Cigar Bar -- but no cigars now. It is above the dining room and is a great place for before dinner drinks. You can also monitor the crowd going into the MDR one deck below.
