Where will the Westerdam be for 3 days???

The Westerdam is leaving her Alaska itinerary for her trip back to us in the south. Happy Dance:D. She leaves today for what shows up as a 25 day cruise. Then I see that she gets to Fort Lauderdale on October 14th - we have a cruise booked on her for October 17th departure. That is 20 days from now. I am not great at math but something dosen't make sense to me. Especially -where will she be from October 14 to the 17th - is that enough time for some kind of reburbishing? Or is there some short charter?

I am just really curious. Can not wait to get aboard our Girl. You guys know everything about HAL - so I thought I'd ask.:confused:

The cruise the Westerdam is on now shows as a 25 day cruise - but we are boarding her in 20 days. I just figured out that the 25 days includes the Alaska cruise she just completed.

But I am still missing the days between Oct. 14th when she gets to Ft. Lauderdale - and Oct. 17th, when we sail on her. Wonder what the Girl is up to.:)

Good question. It doesn't seem long enough to get to the shipyard in the Bahamas and back, and it's been part of the schedule for a while

I wish HAL did a 3 night cruise to Half Moon and back to Fort Lauderdale as a regular cruise offering. Living about a half hour from the port - we would do that cruise once every month or so.:) Dream on.....
