Sanny0808 Posted September 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2015 Just realized we haven't booked transfers from the ship back to MIA. Any suggestions? If we decide to just wait for a cab, how long should we expect that to take? This is our first time sailing out of Miami, so any and all details would be appreciated. Thanks! Rare BirdTravels Posted September 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 27, 2015 Just realized we haven't booked transfers from the ship back to MIA. Any suggestions? If we decide to just wait for a cab, how long should we expect that to take? This is our first time sailing out of Miami, so any and all details would be appreciated. Thanks! Take a Taxi. It's a flat rate of $27 to MIA. It's a short drive (probably around 15-20 mins) to the airport. I think that NCL bus transfers are $19 pp. On smaller ships, they only run one set of buses at 8:30 am. If you are traveling as a couple, the bus will cost more, more constrained on time, and they drop you off at the bus terminal (which make be a hike to your airline check-in). The taxi will drop you off in front of your airline's check-in counter.

janpo Posted September 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 27, 2015 Ncl bus transfers are $25 pp. I have heard they're raising them to $29 pp but not sure.
moesyk4 Posted September 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 27, 2015 A taxi is very easy to get...right across the terminal and there is always a line of taxis. Just a couple of minutes as they fill them up. There is a big sign that says taxi.

watchdiva Posted September 27, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 27, 2015 (edited) We walked out of the terminal and went across the street and grabbed a taxi paying the flat rate to MIS. 20 minutes after leaving the terminal we were being dropped off at the Rental Car Center at MIA. Couldn't be any easier... Edited September 27, 2015 by watchdiva
Raleigh Traveler Posted September 27, 2015 #9 Share Posted September 27, 2015 Don't bother with booking. Last time we walked out and there are many vans waiting with people to direct. We were in a van in 5 minutes and out of the terminal in 10. It was about $10 a person. Quick and easy.

san&zsm Posted September 27, 2015 #11 Share Posted September 27, 2015 Uber was the best! My first time using them was from Miami airport to the cruise port two weeks ago. $15 and the nicest driver.
