I was just watching a video about dining that NCl put out for the escape (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qOO3_aN4PQ&feature=youtu.be) and noticed something that I haven't heard ANYTHING about and I know someone on here will have some insight.

What is Bar Lab (2:52 in the video)?! It sounds awesome. Hopefully it hasn't been nixed already.

Thanks!

It's part of the District Brew House.

From the Escape site:

"Let your hair down in a never-before-seen party at sea. Order one of more than 50 different bottled beers or any of the 24 draft beers on tap, including local Miami craft beer from Wynwood Brewing Company – exclusively on Norwegian Escape. Sip on a specialty cocktail by Bar Lab, masterminds of internationally recognized cocktail creations. Scream your lungs out alongside live music. Or get a little wild inside the photo booth. What happens in The District, stays in The District."

More info from the January 16, 2015 press release:

"The District Brew House

A concept never before done at sea, the District Brew House is a hip, urban craft beer hall featuring an exclusive partnership with Miami’s own Wynwood Brewing Company. Complete with a keg room, 24 draft beers on tap and more than 50 different bottled beers, the District Brew House is sure to be the new hangout onboard for beer connoisseurs and fans alike. The award-winning Wynwood Brewing Company is known for their signature brew, La Rubia Blonde Ale, perfect for the warm Caribbean weather. Along with La Rubia, the District will also serve an all-new brew from Wynwood Brewing Company that will be available exclusively on Norwegian Escape. The District Brew House will also offer a menu of gastropub-style plates for snacking that will complement the beer and beverage offerings, including handcrafted cocktails from Bar Lab’s James Beard Award-nominated mixologists Gabriel Orta and Elad Zvi. Guests sampling the District’s many offerings will also be well-entertained, with interactive nightlife and sing-alongs of everyone’s favorite tunes, as well as a traditional photo booth, where guests can add their photo to the District’s pin board and leave their mark on this cool new space."
