missbozz Posted September 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2015 Hi all. I have enquirers about a 15 night cruise next June with NCL. From London one night in Venice then boarding Jade for 2 weeks round Greece turkey and Croatia. Inside cabin. Drinks package and transfers. Been quoted £1099 which I think is a good deal? CRUZIN TOM Posted September 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2015 If possible, try for a balcony. The views are wonderful when traveling into the various ports. We did a European cruise out of Barcelona a few years back and the balcony cabins made all the difference traveling from city to city.

caitriona43 Posted September 30, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Yes that's a great deal I would think of upgrading to a balcony if possible. I think you have four days at sea on that 14 day cruise having a balcony is really nice.
FranknBeans Posted September 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Converting to US dollars its a great price. But I too agree that a balcony is a must for this cruise as the sail away through the Venice canal is one of the best. We did this same cruise in 2012 in an aft cabin so we had 180 degree view and could see both sides of the narrow canal. would love to do it again. kerryincork Posted September 30, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 30, 2015 We did the Med in an inside cabin & it's fine (on the jade too) it's such a port intensive cruise the balcony would hardly be used especially for the all the extra money you pay for it. There's plenty of viewing available on the upper deck . If you don't intend to get off the ship then a balcony is a lovely quite place to relax. Generally we get a balcony in the Caribbean (usually cheaper) and those cruises which are geared to spectacular scenery i.e. Norway 's fjords or Alaska. We have done both and enjoyed the holiday either way 😊
