In a nutshell...

 

You had to guess who Mr and Mrs xxxdam were by going around and asking are you.....? The idea was that you would meet passengers.

 

First person to guess correctly was the winner.

 

That is some of the game......

 

More of it was that whomever was Mr/Ms Dam Ship was instructed they were to acknowledge to the first person who actually found them but both were begged to not let on to others who Mr/Ms was and they had already been found. After acknowledging to the 'finder' subsequent people who asked if they were Mr/Ms, they answered 'No'.

 

At the end of the cruise, there used to be a Disembarkation Talk and CD would then announce and introduce, on stage, those who had won and those who were Mr/Ms. They received large HAL bags filled with all sorts of logo items and some were really nice. :) IMO

 

The purpose of the game was to get guests speaking with each other,, for people to meet others and start conversations.

The rest of the story: the person who found me was a Cruise Critic member, Sher aka localady. :) Plus, our tablemate found Ms. Prinsendam.
