Anyplace I can rent a Hobie Cat?

There are a couple of places on Ambergris Caye (San Pedro). Info is on either trip advisor or the hobiecat forums. But you'll need to take a water taxi or airplane to get there. Might not leave you enough time to enjoy the sail.

 

On the mainland, there are no beach bars or resorts on the ocean that rent boats. You can check Old Belize's Cucumber Beach (google that) to see if they have anything. It's manmade lagoon and serves as a sail and power boat marina for locals and clearing port for non-Belize sailors. There area couple of longer term sailing charter services out of the marina but not sure what size boats they have.
