Parking at the Hilton Riverside

We are driving down to New Orleans to sail on the Dream in March. We have reservations at the Hilton NO Riverside. Parking there is 38$ per day. We plan on parking at the Fulton garage during the cruise (for a much more reasonable 8 bucks a day:). I cant really figure out anyway to get around the 38 dollar day. I assume we will have to park at the Hilton on Saturday night, then drive over to Fulton on Sunday. We are a family of 5, so cabbing it can get expensive as well. Anyone have any ideas how else to do this?

If you google map it , looks to be about 2-3 blocks away from the hotel. Drop off everyone at the hotel then take the car to fulton street garage. Then walk back to the hotel.

fulton street parking will let you park extra days for a small fee.

I always park at Fulton st. a day early. About a 5 min. walk
