Conquest odd shaped aft ov

On the Conquest and the other ships in this class they have odd shaped aft OVs. We booked 2470 and it appears to be twice the size of the other OVs. There is a crew staircase next to it. Has anyone had this stateroom or2472,2462,2474 or the same on the starboard side? Are they as large as they look? Is there noise from the crew staircase? Is there a lot of vibration aft in this class like the Spiit class? Thanks!

You COULD get vibrations/ shudderings from this area. depends on the waters - the speed of the ship

 

MOSTLY you will get that vibration when entering or leaving port.

when you come back home and you port-- you will notice how quiet it suddenly gets

We were in 2470 a few years ago. Only once did we hear (very faint) singing from the MDR. Had no issues with vibrations. But we are Mexican Riviera cruisers and native Californians, so we're accustomed to shaking.

Only problem we had is that the cabin door is slightly recessed, DH always went to the crew door first, lol.

We'd book this cabin again.
