JustAGirl79 Posted October 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2015 Will be in Tortola in early February and would like to do a half-day kayak shore excursion (no interest in stand-up paddleboarding, SUP). The shore excursion through the cruise line pairs other "stuff" with the kayaking and we'd just like the kayaking experience. Found one offered through Viator, but I've heard mixed reviews because Viator is just a third-party provider. We'd rather book with a local tour company/guide. The description of the Viator one is: Learn about the marine ecosystem of the British Virgin Islands on this Tortola kayaking shore excursion. With an expert guide, kayak through a mangrove forest in a sheltered bay, checking out sea stars and other Caribbean species. In addition to being a fun experience on the water, this tour focuses on the ecology and environment of Tortola’s coastline. (it's approx 4 hours) Anyone have any recommendations?
