Can'tstopcruising Posted November 10, 2015 #51 Share Posted November 10, 2015 Our TA called Celebrity yesterday and was told that the cruise is still on, they were just adjusting inventory. How do we ever believe what we are told in the future? Is it incompetence or just plain lying? Both!
familycruzer Posted November 10, 2015 #52 Share Posted November 10, 2015 If the charters were not happening or were wrong ships listed you know that Celebrity would pull the websites down in no time flat. I am aware of three music charters and one clothing optional charter.
captdave Posted November 10, 2015 #53 Share Posted November 10, 2015 Celebrity has silence...then lies, not good in both cases. Who made the decision to screw all the dedicated customers? The wife & I use to look forward to another day closer to our next cruise, not anymore. CaptDave
ninaslcpa Posted November 11, 2015 #54 Share Posted November 11, 2015 To those affected by the Summit cancellations, I recommend calling the Redeployment Dept. @ Celebrity - 1-888-281-9343. While the deadline to make a decision about another cruise is Nov. 20, our choices are NOT limited to four sailings. I was told we can carry our perks to another cruise as long as we book the same type of stateroom, for example, Concierge, and pay the difference between our price and the GoBig price. In our case, we are considering a slightly longer cruise with a similar itinerary. The per-day cost increase is consistent with our original pricing. Just FYI, if you decide to change/cancel this second booking, all perks will be forfeited and you would get/pay whatever is in place with your new booking.
