sportsmum Posted October 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2015 If you do the BVE you go on the ship early for lunch and tour. Does that mean you can book the Chef's table earlier than the people boarding at regular time? Yes, I am asking about cheating.
janetz Posted October 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2015 If you are sailing and have people with you doing the BVE, you do board right after wedding parties. Yes, I believe you will be able to do that. They are also allowed to bring one bottle of wine on which they can leave with you. :) The BVE of course is for people not sailing. hpeabody Posted October 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 22, 2015 As far as I know Chef's Table is based upon passenger interest in it and the head chef & maitre'd willingness and availability. I do not know for certain it is first come first served, but kind of a mystery who is invited and when. Depending how long your cruise is you will be notified in your cabin mail/phone and asked to meet the day before you are scheduled. That being said, my advice is to call the dine line as early as possible and get confirmed that you are ON THE LIST. They could close the list if there are too many requests. If you are aboard a little early (BVE) go for it, it sure can't hurt. PS, Chef's Table is a great experience, enjoy!
