taxi cost? or viable day option

I have spent three months before in the french riviera and what i loved about it was how the beach restaurants not only had great food, but was on the beach with beach loungers.

 

So my dh and i will be departing off from a cruise port, i believe fort de france, and I researched that Le petibonum is one of the best beach restaurants in Le Carbet.

 

So my question is, is this a feasible thing to do planning for a 4-5 hour LONG Lunch experience.

 

How much would it cost to get there, and back? And even though i don't know many words in french, politeness has always taken me far. And can i take a ferry?
