GuavaTechAngels Posted October 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2015 I did a search and the most recent topic on this was several years old. Has anyone been on the Oosterdam recently with information about the HDMI inputs on their cabin TV's? My retired mom is going on a 3 week cruise for the Thanksgiving holiday and would like to bring some movies on her laptop. Thank you!
Rare richwmn Posted October 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2015 It is unlikely that you will find an accessible HDMI (or any other port) on the TV. However, each cabin has a dvd player and HAL has over 1,000 movies aboard each ship that can be borrowed at no cost. A listing from about a year ago can be found at http://halfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/ShipFlicks2.pdf
take us away Posted October 26, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2015 It is easier if she brings the DVDs as the TV, if it even has HDMI access, is elevated and not very accessible.
Aquahound Posted October 26, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2015 I just got off the Oosterdam and I think the TVs might pre-date HDMI. ;) Either way, like richwmn said, the TVs do have a DVD player connected. No Blue-Ray, just DVD.
