How do I tell when formal night is on 7-night cruise on Freedom

Want to book a night at the Steakhouse on the formal night. How do I know what night that is?

There really is no guaranteed way to tell - unless perhaps you contact the maitre'd. But, it is usually the second or third night (look for a sea day or a port with an early departure time) and then around day 5 or 6 - same rules. Likely you can book when you board and the steakhouse will know. They don't ever seem so packed pre-sailing that this an issue.

On my Freedom cruise we had two Elegant Nights. The 2nd night and the next to last night.

I just got off a 7 day Freedom cruise last week and like the previous poster stated, it was on the 2nd and 6th night.

Most of the time 2nd and 6th. Can't be the last night as luggage has to be outside in the hallway when you go to dinner.
