sandi422 Posted October 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2015 Need advice from those who have sailed from San Juan. I know the ship is full. I have arranged for a 9:30am pick up for transport to the airport to head home. :( Question- Should we do self assist? Should we request an early debark number? Would we be wise to use a porter to get through customs quicker? Thanks in advance for the advice!
cccer Posted October 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2015 Self assist should be fine to be down by 9:30. If you are in a rush once you get to the baggage area, then get a porter to go through the much shorter line.

Use self assist, and use a porter to go out and get a local taxi to go to the airport, I don't know what kind of pick up or by whom you arranged it with. indiaksue Posted October 29, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 29, 2015 We just disembarked in San Juan last week. I would arrange a car to pick you up for sure. When we got off the dream the line for a taxi was very, very long, I have never seen anything like it at any other debarking. Once we did get one, it took us a long time to just go a few blocks because of the one way narrow streets. Make sure to allow plenty of time.
