spongerob Posted September 29, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2005 Odd-numbered cabins are on the starboard (in landubberspeak, right) side of the ship. Even numbers on port (left). The easy way to remember the difference is that port and left both have 4 letters.
turquoisesea Posted October 1, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2005 We were just on the CB - Aloha 633. Although that sounds like a distance from 709 - it is actually just a few doors down from 709. (I never did figure out how they numberd the cabins!) You are near the back of the ship. In Port your balcony faces the dock. If you are Eastern route, In St. Maartin we faced the mountains and a commercial dock; in St. Thomas we faced another cruise ship. It all depends on which berth the ship is assigned. We had a very comfortable room and a great room steward, sorry, I can't remember his name! Have a great trip.
