Hotel and Parking for Anthem 12/27/15 from Cape Liberty

Driving from Maryland one day prior to departure on 12/27 Anthem . I researched hotels and the best selections seem to be Newark Airport area . Although we can leave the car for free at a few hotels ,the taxi fare to and from the terminal ($50-$60 each way) is almost as much as just driving and parking the car for the week at Cape Liberty . The other option is staying at one of the hotels that provides free shuttle service to and from Cape Liberty with free parking on site. However, one hotel I found ( Hilton) is more expense than the Newark selections ( probably to make up for shuttle service ) and adding it up the Marriott in Newark plus parking at Cape Liberty is still just a little more.

Any suggestions or inside tips ? Anyone have first hand knowledge on the parking at Cape Liberty ----cost and capacity.

Parking at Cape Liberty is $19/day. There is a new parking garage that just opened. The most economical park/sleep/cruise option is the Ramada Plaza through Trinityreservations.com for $202 TAX INCLUDED offering a room, parking for 21 days, and round trip port transportation. It is very popular with cruisers, so if you're interested, book it sooner rather than later.

Coming from the south, the Hilton on Staten Island is a good option, but there is a $14 toll to get there which is offset by a somewhat smaller NJ Turnpike cost.
