Seascape Condo Galveston

We are trying to figure out where to stay precruse in April 2016. Didn't realize when we booked the cruise how difficult flights, shuttles and hotel arrangements would be. Should have done my homework but now need advice from the knowledgeable people on cruisecritic.

Has anyone ever stayed at the Seascape condos? There will be 6 of us and it seems more economical to rent a two room condo than 2 separate rooms. Would appreciate any feedback from those in the know. Thanks!!

Good for you...planning well ahead. How long will you be staying? Before the cruise? After? You might do a little research to see if there are hotels with cruise packages. Seascape condos are way out on the west end of the island and the cruise terminal is on the east end. Don't get me wrong - it's about 20 minutes to drive, but when you are out there, you are out away from most of the things to do. It is lovely and very beachy, though. Just look around and see what you want to do with your time.
