i would say if you wanted to do it that way use a US TA. Someone else on here booked in US and their reservation appears to have got transferred to the EU site.

I've always managed to get really good deals using a UK based NCL cruise consultant though, sometimes onboard credit, other times free meals/shore excursions on top of the usual deals. They can't usually discount the cabin price though, but can throw in extras.

Just remember that port fees, taxes and service charges on promos are not included in the advertised fare like they are in the UK so don't forget to account for them when determining where you get the best price.

Yes, that is a key point! Our experience has been that in most cases US pricing is significantly better, and you can cancel the cruise with a full deposit refund (sometimes a $25 admin fee) before final payment!

Who knows exactly what happened in that one person's case, but in the meantime, lots of us have continued to book on the US site with no problems. For people who don't really need the services of a TA, and would in fact prefer to build the booking on their own, a nice option is to set up the booking just as you like on the US website and either put down a deposit or do a courtesy hold, then transfer the reservation to a (US-based) TA to get the TA's lower pricing and/or additional perks.

Is it possible for UK guests to book a cruise on NCLs US website?.

Yes, it is possible for everybody to book on ncl.com.

The only problem is that you can't use ncl.com in UK because you get rerouted to ncl.uk....

The problem can easily be solved, and a BEAR in a TUNNEL is your friend, and he is also for free, and long as you take with you the baby bear..;)

Google him, use him, og you can connect to directly to ncl.com and stay on that site for ever....:)

MSH - Found the bear, thanks for the advice, will see what difference it makes dealing direct with NCL.com.

As to using US TA found VTG very good but now check prices using compete cruise (switch order and Google) first. Have had great deal for Feb 2016 NCL cruise and also Cunard TA.
