Spa Services on Embarkation Day Questions

Has anyone received spa services (massage, facial, etc.) on embarkation day? Were all services available? Were there any discounts offered? Thanks

We have never seen the spa open for services on embarkation day as the employees are far too busy giving tours, cleaning the area, and booking appointments for during the cruise. The spa workers are all over the ship advertising the goings on in the spa. You will find special prices for some spa services on port days.

As soon as the safety drill is over the spa has appointments available. We've had facials and massages that early. I don't remember any discounts being offered though.
