For those cruising today 11/3, I just saw this on the Port Everglades web site:

Important Message

close Traffic Alert – Downed Utility Lines at Eisenhower Blvd. Checkpoint

Port visitors and users are advised not to use the Port's entrance/exit at Eisenhower Blvd. and SE 17th Street due to downed utility lines. Lanes have been reduced to one northbound lane and one southbound lane just north of the Checkpoint.

All motorists are asked to use the Port's other two entrances located at Spangler Blvd. and Eller Dr. Utility company crews have been dispatched to begin repairs. We thank you for your cooperation.
