Going to Jost Van Dyke from St Thomas?

Is there any economical way to get to Jost Van Dyke from St Thomas? If so, who offers this option? My husband and I want to get to Jost Van dyke and are struggling to find something.

The only time I've seen an excursion, either ship or private, going to Jost van Dyke is from Tortola, BVI.

When we are in Tortola, we will be going to The Baths. I heard Jost Van Dyke is POSSIBLE but I'm struggling to find anyone to take us without getting a private charter.

We used Dolphin Water Taxi but there were 10 of us to split the cost and more or less chartered the boat to be on our ship schedule.

I would not say it is cheap. You MUST have your passport & there is an additional charge from BVI customs.

Contact Dolphin Water Taxi let them know you are on the port schedule and see if they have any other groups going that day that you can get in on.

 

Its just two of us going this time and we plan to do the same hoping to get lucky in sharing with another group. If not, we will just go to St John.
