When might we expect Carnival Valor to give the all clear to go in the rooms/cabins?

waived" the dress code for dinner on the first night for anyone who didn't get their bags on time. Now I'm on my first Carnival Cruise ever and I have a 6PM seating. Will Carnival turn me away if at 6PM my bag wasn't at my room yet and I have jeans and sneakers instead of men's slacks and dress shoes?

 

Carnival waives the dress code on the first night also.

Carnival pretty much waves the dress code every night....as long as you don't have gym shorts and a tank top on, you will not get turned away......

Hi everybody. Just back from my Carnival Valor Cruise. I did NOT regret the fact that I did not purchase Faster to the fun. I drove my personal vehicle so plane connections were not an issue. I had two Carnival Excursions including the one day a tender was needed...so that was not an issue either. The regular check in line moved well. I was through the line in 15 minutes or so.

Oh yeah, to continue my previous post...I put my bags out the night before. The bags were in the terminal baggage claim area waiting for me when I got there.

We arrived at the Long Beach terminal about 2:00 pm and the check-in lines were still long. It was great being able to bypass them. That alone made it worth it.

To follow up my post #29, we arrived at Port Canaveral around Noon. Maybe the lines would have been longer an hour later or so.
