We will be in San Juan in January for our Jewel of the Seas cruise. We will be arriving the day before. When we check out the next day, our ship doesn't leave until 8 pm. We would like to walk around Old San Juan and shop. Any suggestions on what to do with luggage?

Check with your hotel...they may hold your luggage for you.

Or... You could tell the taxi driver you're dropping your bags at the ship and leaving them with the porters and continuing on to Old San Juan. It might be an extra charge but it might work out for you so you don't have to go back to the hotel then on to the ship after you're done in OSJ.

Good suggestion, Barrachina has done this for decades. Lots of cruise ship passengers sailing out of San Juan use their service pre or post.
