TexasPete Posted November 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2015 As a VIP of Club Royale for years I've discovered there is I complete disconnect between the corporate office and their ships. Liberty of the seas for this example. I raise complete caution to those who have credit lines approved. To avoid the hassle, embarrassment and attitude adjustment ie losing the Mojo.... It has occurred to me that the approval process is not complete once the corporate has approved you in fact it's more of smoke and mirrors in my case. The casino cashier haa no respect and is very unprofessional.
FloridaGator Posted November 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2015 How true. Just last week on the Freedom I go to the casino host to introduce myself and say I am going to cashier to pick up my "rebate" from play on last cruise. She pulls me up on her computer and says I have nothing coming, even though I showed her the e-mail I had from corporate. Bad attitude problem with hosts. Looking at other cruise lines with better prices and better attitudes and service.
TheTruthCanHurt Posted November 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2015 I have never set up a line of credit through the casino. I typically bring cash with me, as well as I use my seapass since being a CR member I have no fee. Out of my cruises there was only one occasion where they forgot to send my rebate and I was not able to get it until pm on the second day. Now I am in the habit of emailing both CR and the casino host on the ship prior to my leaving to make sure they have the proper information. nolimits Posted November 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 4, 2015 I have run into some hosts that where lacking,I also relize there not land base casino hosts who are trying to keep You at there casino. It seems there main job is to run the slot and BJ tournaments.I buy the drink package now but prior the coupon thing drove me insane.I'm playing a 100 plus a hand and paying for drinks.LOL

Nessa1dc Posted November 4, 2015 #7 Share Posted November 4, 2015 How do you email the Casino Host? I am sailing the Anthem in January and I will be awaiting my $500 rebate....
TheTruthCanHurt Posted November 4, 2015 #8 Share Posted November 4, 2015 casino host emails can be a bit of a fishing expedition. they typically end with _casinohost@rccl.com typically the ship is abbreviated into two letters like AL_casinohost@rccl.com if you look at the current list of concerige posts. they usually have their email addressses. If you use that as a guide you can figure it out.
serious sealeggs Posted November 5, 2015 #9 Share Posted November 5, 2015 I find this post very interesting. As we were invited into CR on the Liberty last Dec. we've cruised 3 times booked with CR since then. We are D+ We reunited with our CR invitational host on our last cruise on Freedom. She acted as if we never existed. Worst host service ever. The casino staff was amazing!!!! (Not the same as CR) But the CR host was 'to say the least' not at her best. Always overwhelmed and too busy to talk This was the worst CR service we had experienced. We still get discounts, great service when calling to book next cruise, etc. however we were quite disappointed in comparison to previous cruises. Looking forward to see how it goes on our Anthem cruise on Nov 30th. Hopefully will be back to RCI standards.
