Is the Internet Cafe convenient to use?

Thank you all for the info! I think we will probably use our phones for email and go to the internet cafe if needed, and to check in for our flight. I was worried about using our phones because of roaming charges, but hadn't thought about turning the roaming off. Great information on this site!

As mentioned in post #19 of this thread pre-purchasing your internet plan can be more of a PITB than the bonus minutes are worth, especially if you have OBC you could have used for buying the plan after your board. There is supposed to be a certificate in your cabin that you have pre-purchased minutes but it is often not there. With or without certificate you have to see the internet manager to activate your account with the bonus minutes (and make sure you are not double charged).

If you are bringing your own device you should just wait until your board and then you can buy the plan you want, pay with your OBC, and set it up yourself from the privacy of your cabin.
