CHAMPDDS Posted November 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2015 I am a little compute illiterate, so forgive me, but I recently keep getting an error message 'Internet Explorer has modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting'....Has anyone else had problems with this annoying message, since I have to constantly X it to continue viewing each page... Cross-site scripting (XSS) is a type of computer security vulnerability typically found in web applications. So is this a CC website issue? cruiserhal Posted November 9, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2015 If you don't have one running I would try an ad blocker program. It will block the annoying ads that show up on the side of the screen. From what I saw in the past (prior to ad blocking) the message seems to be related to the ads trying to link elsewhere. Just a thought but those messages disappeared for me after using an ad blocker.
