Just off Allure 2 nighter- Casino slot review++

Recommended Posts

Hello all, Any cruise is a great cruise. Can't wait to cruise again. With that said, the Allure is way too large to do in basically one and a half days. Since I sailed Oasis awhile back, I didn't stress myself with trying to do everything. But I did notice a few things, I'll start in the Casino:

Although I had no luck at all on night one, I saw people winning on the slots. But only small amounts, Less than $200. I mention this because I was on Norwegian Getaway in March and every day my husband and I won more than that and I personally saw people receiving handpays everyday. So for all of you, who play slots don't have high hopes on this ship.

What types of slots do they have, you may ask? Well, quick hits and all the old favorites. Since this is a cruise ship, I guess they don't switch up every other day like in local casinos.

I did see the casino attendants come around frequently asking about drinks, so I guess that was a good thing.

I'm doing this review for all the people who visit the casino on cruises (I know you are out there, because the casino is always packed) but never can find a review about it. Oh well, questions/comments????? More to come.....

Thanks for the info. I was on the Anthem in September and had some success at video poker. I will be on the Allure Sep 2016. How was the smoking in the casino? On the Anthem, one of the few smoking areas on the ship was were the videos machines were. Made it hard to concentrate sometimes.

I will be on Oasis in December over new years. The last time I was on Oasis (year and half ago) the slots were OK. I hit a royal flush, and a few other good hands, and some good slot hits, all playing dollars. Since the ship has been retrofitted, did they change the casino on the Oasis? Anyone know?

I saw people winning on Buffalos in the back of the casino, wheel of fortune on the non smoking side, 7 slots on wall in the back on both sides, Zeus near the cashier, actually most of the slots between the elevators and the cashier were giving bonuses pretty often. But not to me😒😒😒😒
