blueasthesea Posted November 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Last month while sailing on the Freedom my family of 5 decided to pass on the Cave Tubing and wanted to do something different. After browsing the web we found out about these guys and decided to do their Horse Back riding adventure. We had a great time with them!. We passed through the countryside along the way where our guide informed us about the history and traditions of the Belizean people. The area was beautiful and the drive to the site was considerably short ( 35-40 minutes). Once we got to the site our horses were there waiting for us. They were well groomed and well kept, we were briefed shortly on how to control the Horses (not that we were amateur riders) before taking off into the Jungle where we got to saw many birds, different insects and animals including the Howler Monkeys! After we were done trekking through the Jungle we were given time to explore areas on our own and race the Horses. A delicious Belizean style lunch was then served before we went back to the Port area. We made reservations on their site http://www.waytogotoursbelize.com . I highly recommend trying it if you folks are up for some adventure!:D
