Question about B2B bringing wine aboard

Has anyone recently sailed on the Splendor and was allowed to bring 4 bottles of wine doing a B2B?

You should have no problems, just take your boarding passes with you for both cruises.

 

Last time on Carnival we did a b2b2b and took 3 bottles of wine each. The scanner person told me we were allowed only one bottle and I showed him our boarding passes for all 3 cruises and asked to speak to a supervisor. He let us go on through.

We've been told the same. We forgot about this on our last B2B, but will be sure to take advantage this time :)

Based on information from other cruisers, I'm taking 6 bottles for our back-to-back-to-back on Carnival Freedom starting 28 Nov. I have all 3 boarding passes printed in case they ask.

It really depends. I just recently went on the B2B Triumph cruises. Both bottles of wine were in my carry on (solo cruiser), and anybody over their allotted amount for the first leg were sent to a table to leave their overage. There were a lot of complaints. Even showing multiple boarding passes made no difference and they weren't going to budge in Galveston.

 

I have learned how to quietly walk past those tables.

 

The thing with Carnival is there is absolutely no consistency with anything they do.

You should have no problem just DONT try and hide them simply show them along with both boarding passes! :)

I guess it varies by ship, PVP says 2 only buy 2 in port for return trip.
