Went to Jack's Shack on Monday after our Doone Buggey Exscurscion ! What a great place , just what we wanted local fun and relaxed !!! Drinks where good and food was good , had the conch fritters yum !

Jacks is our go to place in GT, relaxing, beautiful beach, good drinks & food and great company! last time we were there in August rented 3 chairs and big shade umbrella for $10, cant beat it...:D

I love Jack's Shack and other bars on the beach. The people are incredibly friendly! Don't stay in the tourist village!

How far is Jack's Shack from the pier? We are doing a sting ray excursion next July, but I'm hoping that if we get back to the pier early (which I think we will), that we have time to walk to Jack's for a little while. I want to at least get to meet Topher. [emoji4]

Is the walk down the beach or is there paving? My mom has some difficulty walking long distances or on uneven ground.

The walk is down the beach line, but you could go on the paved street. My inlaws actually did the walk down the beach, but grabbed a cab for the quick ride back. They can't walk as far.

 

We love Jacks! Been there 3 times. Tip, go on other side of freighter pier right there at Jacks and there is some really good snorkeling and conch shell/sand dollar findings.
