Can Allure's Giovanni's Table still be booked on embarkation day?

Or is it being used solely for passengers doing B2B's?

 

I thought it was possible to book this venue for lunch upon embarkation day, but it does not show availability under the cruise planner (reservations) until 5pm.

 

Will they add it later, or have any of you had success in calling?

 

I see recent Cruise Compasses do not list it as an available venue at lunch.

 

Have I missed something?

Royal has discontinued advanced lunch bookings for all specialty restaurants.

I was on the Nov 8th sailing of Allure and we boarded at about 12:30 and went straight to Giovanni 's and it was only about half full. There were plenty of tables available.
