Interesting. We always pick our cabin and stick to that. We've not cancelled any Princess cruise we've booked.

I've been discouraged with the lack of "great sales" this week. In the end, I prefer to book using FCC, so unless the deal is too good to pass up, then I'll wait.

 

I do have 2 cruises I want to book. So, just keeping an eye out on them and their pricing.

When I have seen one dollar price drops before (where price ends in an 8 instead of 9) it seems to sometimes be related to a 2-for-1 offer for 50% off 2nd guest offer so that the final price comes out to a whole number. I haven't looked at that fair in particular to know if that's the case. Not sure why Princess is obsessed with whole numbers.
