shes going to be in Miami port tomorrow? going to be crowed there tomorrow with Glory and Sensation there too, not to mention the other cruise lines ships there too.

March 20, Sunday

Thanks for all of your help. We embark on Sunday. This is the first time I have sailed on a ship fresh out of dry dock, so I hope I'm not afraid to touch anything cause it looks so clean and shiny :)

I will be taking LOTS of pictures and will do a full review when I get back !!!

Ok! Hope they are done by May! I have one booked

Which cruise in May? We're going on May 15th and we got 9200. It was a total fluke that it came available and my wife booked it. We can't wait to see it!

We're sailing on Sunday, but we'll keep her in tip top shape for you :)

Hello!!!

If you would be so kind as to perhaps take photos of the new menus and maybe even the Fun Times newsletter, we would surely appreciate it! I'm sailing in 2 weeks and would love a heads up! Enjoy your cruise and looking forward to any reviews! Thank you :)

She comes in on Sunday... Tomorrow is at sea (clean up). The new cabins are still being worked on...

Do you have an ETA for her on Sunday? I was hoping she was going to be in Miami today and be patiently waiting for us to arrive on Sunday. I hope we don't beat her to the POM :)

I believe she's due in around 5am on Sunday morning.

She already left Freeport and is taking a round about route back to Miami.

Here's her current location...

So it seems that for now, tablecloths will be used in the MDR, so good news for, those who hate the new "naked" tables... I believe the menus however are the new ones...

So, good news (tablecloths...not that of deal) and bad news (American table menu... no bitter 'n blanc :( ).

Do you know if the tablecloths are for every day? or just for the elegant nights? Because I think they still have them on the other ships but just for elegant night.

Carnival Splendor was my first Carnival ship. She is decidedly PINK and very beautiful inside and out.

That ship will always have a warm spot in my heart. The Lido buffet area is easily one of the most stunningly beautiful buffet areas I've ever seen on a ship. The Liner aft pool area is very retro classy.

The ship works SPLENDIDLY on so many levels. I personally hope Carnival doesn't change too much about her. She is already perfect.

Already posted that not too many changes... Carpets new, new bridge suites (still more work ongoing on those) spa is being redone (still working on that too)... I honestly don't know about the HUb app and hubby does not either... Hvac system upgraded, pools redone, casino upgrades, lots done to crew areas (which does not effect pax) an lots of engine system maintenance and electrical/generator upgrades, hull paint and propeller cleaned (which again, pax would not notice)

Also... new jacuzzis, bathtubs in suites repaired/replaced, cabins spruced up but other than the bridge suites, Playlist productions installed, no major structural changes... So aside from looking "new and shiny" ( crews were working all day and night yesterday cleaning) essentially the same ship... But she looks good!

Forgot to add, new mattresses and bedding...

On her now.

For a ship out of dry dock you really can't tell.

Soiled cushions here and there. Broken decor in lido. The cabins are same - steward advised that nothin g was done in regards to new linens etc.

Decks around pool, slide, and golf are in poor shape.

None of the anticipated food choices were installed either.
