Excursion Suggestions with young kids?

Does anyone have suggestions for excursions in Belize City that would be good for kids ages 3 and 6? We are also traveling with my father-in law who is close to 80. Would prefer booking the excursion with a reputable company instead of the cruise line. Will be there at the end of this month. Thank you!

That's a tough question for children that young.

That's also a tough question given the port of call. Fwiw we went to Lamanai with our boys when they were 6&4 yrs, though they were both used to long car rides, boats and historical sites. We had a blast, though they were 2 of 3 children on the whole tour.

If your father in law is able to walk independently, Lamanai is very interesting, though it's a long day.
