Hey guys, sorry to ask another question on this topic:

 

We have reserved our specialty dining, but do we really need to reserve MDR tables? I don't mind booking a few things ahead, but I don't want to plan every hour of our trip before we even get started. Sort of takes away from the "freestyle" feel, ya know?

No, you do not have to reserve tables at the MDR. The longest I've ever waited was 5 minutes, and that's because we left the theater and headed straight there along with everyone else doing the same thing.

Based on past non-escape experience, if you are not dead set on a specific DR, no worries. If one is a long wait, usually others may not be. I've only ever reserved Manhattan, which seems to book up more than the others because of the entertainment.
