Location of Oasis Grand suites

Currently have a grand suite held on the 8th deck on Oasis.

I see that there is one directly above on the 10th deck available.

Is there any advantage/disadvantage for switching ?

I would keep the deck 8 GS. You'll be on the same deck as Central Park and only a few decks from the Boardwalk and Royal Promenade.

We were on deck 8 this pass summer It worked out very well as we did not have to walk half the length of the ship to get from one side to the other.

We both thought the location was perfect

A deck 8 GS location cannot be beat. Close to the elevators and right next to Central Park. :)

We've had 12654 on the last 2 cruises and have it booked gain. We enjoy the view from our balcony and aren't high enough up to hear any pool noise. It's a short walk down the hall to the elevator to get us anywhere we want o go !

Wish we would have kept our GS mid ship instead of going for 14730.

 

Some day we will do it though when me and DH are the only cruisers.

Our pick would always be deck 8! Can't beat being steps away from Central Park and park cafe for breakfast and lunches.

I was on deck nine in a GS and loved it; deck eight would be even better!

We recently stayed in 10660 on Allure and enjoyed the location. Depends where you're going to spend your time. 10 is closer to 15-17 if you will spend a lot of time at the pool, sun decks, and suite lounge (which we did). 8 is closer to the "inside" areas and the Boardwalk. You can't go wrong with either one. Location to the aft elevator was fantastic.
