How come NCL.com can't put up an actual picture of the Jewel?

I think it's pretty ridiculous that a cruise line doesn't have a real picture of their ship on their website.

 

Look at the top two decks, they're totally different. Dawn has 5 decks of windows and balconies and Jewel has 6.

I'm sure it takes a while to get those aerial photos for their newer ships. I'm positive they will update the website once she's been in the fleet a while. :p

I also remember before the NCL website makeover, they had an actual picture of the Jewel but then somehow put up Jewel hull art on a Dawn-class ship after the makeover.

Perhaps the size of the ice cubes used onboard NCL ships is a problem for you as well?

I don't get it? Why all of the snarky comments (not just you!) they should be able to post a picture of their ship, that should be a basic requirement and yet so many comments saying it's asking too much??

The problem is that the Dawn & the Jewel are not sister ships. This could create a problem for anyone who is looking at the ship's exterior to determine room placement. People do that all the time to look for things such as hull balconies.
