Pugster4 Posted December 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2015 My wife and I ate going on our first cruise. This is her first and I haven't been for 12 years. I was just wondering what all I could take on board from ports. We want to get some Mexican vanilla and maybe some candy or something. I know they won't let you bring on open drinks. Anything else? Also are you allowed to take on some snacks and candy of embarkation day if you want? Thanks!
lisajm Posted December 17, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2015 Vanilla is fine to bring on board. Any food that you bring on needs to be packaged. No fruit or flowers, either on or off the ship.

SadieN Posted December 17, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2015 Depending on the port, they've been allowing drinks onboard. Open half filled water bottles. Many times it depends on the port and security. Seattle allows flowers to be brought onboard.
Froufie Posted December 17, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 17, 2015 I have brought flowers onboard - I believe you can't take them off with you when you disembark....??
