Beach Recommendations for Falmouth & Montego Bay

[April-in-NC]

Our extended family (9 people ranging from my 80 year old father to my twin 3 year old niece and nephew) is scheduled to dock in Falmouth. We are looking for a beach that has:

 

1) Fairly calm surf for the kids

2) Nice sand

3) Chairs available

4) Umbrellas and/or natural shade

5) Cheap (not too interested in an AI due to having 3 kids with us and may not be there more than 2-3 hours depending on how tired they get)

6) Above all, SAFE.

 

I'm also starting to see that the Breeze will sometimes switch to dock at Montego Bay with little/no notice so I'm looking for a back-up beach for that port. I'm thinking Doctors Cave beach will work for us there but if there are any other options please let me know!
