momoftwinteens Posted December 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2015 Are there any rules forbidding hand held cameras while doing the course? I would LOVE to get a picture of the side of the ship from the plank. I realize that one needs to hang on while on the ropes course(makes perfect sense) and that the camera will get bounced around. That is why my good camera will stay safely in my cabin. My underwater camera, however, is a lot sturdier.
Rare KeithJenner Posted December 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2015 You are very restricted on what you can take. Even pockets must be empty, so hand held cameras aren't allowed. I have seen people allowed on with fixed cameras (go pros on a head strap for example), but I'm not sure exactly what is allowed like that. snoozcroozr Posted December 20, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 20, 2015 you can get a picture of the side of the ship by extending a selfie stick or monopod outward at any area outdoor area where you can see the ocean. BTW, you don't have to hang to the harness for dear life during the rope course (as most people do), you can do much of the course with your hands not holding onto anything, just spread out for balance, on others you can grab onto the ropes instead your harness. bbryan5 Posted December 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 20, 2015 I snuck my cell with me, and snapped a few pix with it, and immediately got yelled at for it :D:D
