czexrus Posted December 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 22, 2015 Just curious if you can burn candles in your cabin; we have a balcony. Also, what do people use to carry the cards around your neck? Lastly, sorry, what is the bar/booze package consist of?
SadieN Posted December 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2015 Battery operated candles only, no open flames. Lanyards around the neck.
chengkp75 Posted December 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 22, 2015 Nothing that produces an open flame is allowed. Candles and incense are specifically banned in the cruise documentation. Lighters and matches are of course allowed, but then you can't use them in the cabin anyway.

Carnival's restricted items list includes candles: https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2261/~/restricted-items-list Carnival lanyards may be purchased in the onboard gift shop, or if you visit the casino on the first night they usually give different ones away. Cheers is Carnival's beverage package and details are here: https://help.goccl.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1106/~/cheers!-beverage-program Have a great cruise! Havingfun2010 Posted December 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 22, 2015 (edited) Just curious if you can burn candles in your cabin; we have a balcony. Seriously, you have to ask this question? Also, what do people use to carry the cards around your neck? The gift shop will sell you a $10 lanyard with a pouch, or you can go to your local store and buy one for a fraction of the cost. Lastly, sorry, what is the bar/booze package consist of? Beer/wine/shots/mixed drinks Edited December 22, 2015 by Havingfun2010
Savlamara Posted March 8, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Battery operated candles only, no open flames. Lanyards around the neck. Should these battery operated candles be put in checked luggage or in a carry on?

beachbum53 Posted March 8, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Should these battery operated candles be put in checked luggage or in a carry on? It makes no difference. You should have your checked luggage delivered to your cabin before you would need or want the battery operated candles.
cruiseonthebrain Posted March 8, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 8, 2016 No candles, tiki torches, or camp fires in the cabins. Carnival is just so strict:)
chocolate melting cake Posted March 8, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 8, 2016 On a cruise when we used battery operated candles I showed them to the room steward the first day, so he wouldn't misunderstand and confiscate them.
TerReuv Posted March 8, 2016 #11 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Should these battery operated candles be put in checked luggage or in a carry on? Doesn't matter. I usually pack mine in our checked luggage.
