untailored bostonian Posted December 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 22, 2015 The cost of the wireless service seem uniform across ships. I also seem to recall reading the the overall connectivity and speed has been upgraded. I will be sailing in a Cove Balcony, deck 2. Has anyone used their Ipad in their room on the lower decks? Is reception diminished due to all the ship's structure that far down in the deep?
WLHyatt Posted December 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2015 Wifi systems are usually deployed per floor in any building. I would bet money that Carnival installed enough access points on their ships that wifi is accessible anywhere on board. Your wifi will not be dependant on being on a public deck or anywhere else. You will not have an issue connecting to the network from your cabin.

WLHyatt Posted December 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 22, 2015 If you're looking for reassurance, I was on her a year and a half ago in a cove balcony, had no trouble with wifi. The ship uses wifi cordless phones, so they have to have good coverage front to back on every deck.
