Bringing an empty, reusable cup on board?

Can't you buy cups on board that you can reuse throughout your cruise? The ones speciality drinks come in. They don't run those through a machine before you get a refill. Bring your cup.

But the bartenders are trained so that nothing touches the glass. There are many fine points to USPH regulations that passengers are not aware of.

We always bring our (empty) water bottles. We all have one and we pack them in an outer pocket of our backpacks, so I know that they are seen by security. They have never given them a second look. Unfortunately, one of my sons left his someplace on our Magic sailing a few weeks ago and didn't tell us until we were walking off the ship =( There was no way we were abandoning our early self assist to go find his cup. A real bummer since they aren't cheap.
